JaNae was born in Toronto, Ontario on May 23, to an American mother and Guyanese/Canadian father, giving her dual citizenship. During high school, she joined the Improv team, as well as landing the lead role in the school production of "Cabaret". She entered the International Modeling and Talent Associations (IMTA) competition in L.A in 2004 and took home four awards, including "Actress of the year".

Her career started when wanting to be a track athlete, but after permanently hurting her leg, her life went a different direction, she always had a thing for the Arts but it did not really take effect until watching a film with Jada Pinkett Smith called "A Low Down Dirty Shame" It was the boldness and attitude of the female character that grabbed her interest in both her acting abilities and real life. From that point on she decided to focus in building her career, doing auditions for plays such as "The Kink in my Hair" and "The Lion King" winning call backs for both plays. She was discovered during a workshop by an agent while doing a monologue piece from the hit T.V. show "The Kink in my hair" This workshop discovery is now leading JaNae to becoming the strong bold female character that is launching her to stardom

You don't know me but my name is Charles now I don't know how everything works but what I do know is that when a fan or fans come together and request something the entertainment industry usually listen because there goal is to give the audience what they want. Well my time has come to ask or should I say tell you what I want to see this year! There is this beautiful actress that I have been reading on name JaNae Armogan, I recently read this article that I have copied and pasted for you to look at saying that she would love to be a part of this film "Eclipse" anyway the way she was talking about the character she wanted to play she laid out a brief history about this “Leah” which made me grow compelled to the story and because of her I went out and just recently purchase these books. My point is that I felt like she put her heart in soul in this character just by talking about it and the picture that was posted absolutely stunning I have also attach that as well. To me she sounds like apart of this character is her. So I joined this group and am trying to help out as much as I can, hopefully this helps and you see what I see and in the words of the article "give her the opportunity to embrace this character".
